Water, open-air living and a village setting give Lake Las Vegas a distinct place in a valley-wide home search. Start by deciding what you would actually use during a normal week: a morning walk, time on the water, a restaurant close to home or a quieter outdoor space.
Treat a community tour as a chance to test those routines. Walk the public areas, drive the approach to the homes you are considering and look at the relationship between the property and the setting. A lake-area address does not automatically include a waterfront view, private access or club membership.
