Lake Las Vegas: A Resort Weekend, Close to Home
City Talks · Snow Around Town · September 2026
A closer look at the setting, the daily routine and the home search around the lake.
Water, open-air living and a village setting give Lake Las Vegas a distinct place in a valley-wide home search. Start by deciding what you would actually use during a normal week: a morning walk, time on the water, a restaurant close to home or a quieter outdoor space.
Treat a community tour as a chance to test those routines. Walk the public areas, drive the approach to the homes you are considering and look at the relationship between the property and the setting. A lake-area address does not automatically include a waterfront view, private access or club membership.
Our Snow Around Town edition invites you to look beyond the floor plan. When an activity catches your attention, check its operator’s current schedule and access requirements. Then compare the exact home, association arrangements and travel routes with the life you want to build.

September 25–26, 2026: golf and a culinary evening at Reflection Bay.
The September edition highlights the Lake Las Vegas Classic at Reflection Bay. Friday’s golf program offers morning and afternoon starts; the organizer lists 7:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. options. Registration and participant requirements apply.
Saturday, September 26, brings the Culinary Feast to the event lawn, beach and clubhouse. The published schedule runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m., with dinner, a silent auction and live music. Confirm tickets and event terms with the organizer before arranging your visit.
Schedules checked September 22, 2026. These are dated events from the September issue, rather than a recurring weekly schedule.
Dragon Boat Race Day at Lake Las Vegas
City Talks · Snow Around Town · September 2026
The September issue looks ahead to October 17, 2026.
Pan Am Dragon Boat lists the Lake Las Vegas Dragon Boat Festival for October 17, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event brings organized racing to the lake and offers another way to experience the community setting.
The organizer’s page is marked sold out. That status concerns event registration; confirm spectator arrangements, access and any schedule changes directly with the organizer. Do not assume the presence of a registration link means entries remain available.

Antonio’s City Note: How Do You Want Your Week to Feel?
City Talks · Snow Around Town · September 2026
The best home search starts with the life around the home.
“The best home search starts with how you want your week to feel.”
Tell me whether your Las Vegas looks like lake mornings, arts nights, game days or a quieter neighborhood rhythm. I’ll build the home search around the life—not just the ZIP code.
Bring those priorities to your first conversation. We can use them to compare communities, organize a practical tour and decide which homes deserve a closer look.
