Things to Do in Henderson, NV: 2026 Guide
Henderson is the part of the valley that goes outside. Paved trails run to Lake Mead, the wetlands are minutes from the freeway, and Water Street has become downtown's night out. Here is what Antonio tells clients to try first, checked September 2026.
Outdoors
River Mountains Loop Trail · Henderson to Lake Mead. A 34-mile paved loop that links Henderson, Boulder City and Lake Mead, with a spur toward Hoover Dam.
Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve · E. Galleria Dr. Free, with nine ponds and more than 270 bird species recorded. Fall hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Clark County Wetlands Park · East valley. 2,900 acres and a nature center open Tuesday to Sunday. Some trails are closed for construction.
Culture & Entertainment
Water Street District · Downtown Henderson. Local breweries, the Gold Mine Tavern with live music since 1965 and the City Lights Art Gallery.
Henderson Silver Knights · Lee's Family Forum. The Vegas Golden Knights' AHL team. The 2026–27 home opener is October 3 at 6 p.m.
Clark County Museum · S. Boulder Hwy. The valley's regional history museum, with restored homes on the grounds.

American First Center · Water Street District. Ice rinks with public skating and lessons.
