Things to Do in Summerlin: Antonio's Local Guide
Summerlin is built around the outdoors. Red Rock Canyon is minutes away, there are more than 200 miles of trails, and Downtown Summerlin fills the calendar with concerts, markets and festivals. Here is Antonio's short list, checked in September 2026.
Red Rock Canyon
About 5 to 10 minutes from Downtown Summerlin. Take the 13-mile scenic drive, hike Calico Tanks or Ice Box Canyon, or climb one of more than 2,000 routes.
Downtown Summerlin
Shopping and dining. More than 125 stores and 30 restaurants in an outdoor center.
Las Vegas Farmers Market. Every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., under The Pavilion.
Fitness on The Lawn. Free classes every Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Luckey Climber. A 24-foot climbing sculpture the kids will want to go back to.
Game day
Las Vegas Ballpark. A 10,000-seat stadium, home of the Triple-A Las Vegas Aviators from April to September.
City National Arena. The Vegas Golden Knights' practice rink, with public skating sessions.
Golf
Summerlin has about ten courses. Public: TPC Las Vegas, Highland Falls, Palm Valley, Siena and Eagle Crest. Private: TPC Summerlin, The Summit Club, Red Rock Country Club and Amara.
Arts & culture
The Summerlin Festival of Arts returns October 9, 2026. Year-round, the Donald W. Reynolds Cultural Center is home to Nevada Ballet Theatre, and the Summerlin Library & Performing Arts Center hosts shows and exhibits.
